Scribings containing knowledge related to the Book of the Tree of Life help Quaestors improve their overall health or constitution.

Scribing is the Umbric ability that creates visible markings known as “Scribings” within the Fold. Scribes use the technique to hide or preserve knowledge, thus making the information accessible only to those who can access the Fold. Creating permanent markings is a highly advanced skill; most Scribes’ efforts dissipate after mere seconds or minutes. Scribing requires a special tool as well as the training to use it. While Scribing appears to be a lost art in the modern day, it is theorized that the tools used must be crafted from Umbric Flora—rare plant or fungal matter that has evolved to possess a true consciousness.&nbsp;
