The Fold

Divers devote years of practice to the art of diving, the most orthodox way of entering the Fold.&nbsp;

The Deep Fold

Normally, only advanced Divers who've been Diving for a long time and have honed their mind sharply can enter the most profound part of the Fold, called the Deep Fold.

Umbric Abilities

During the golden age of the LYS, workshops on Diving were given frequently. Although it is not easy, it is a fundamental ability, and executing a successful Dive into Fold is a fantasy every Quaestor has.

Diving is a technique that lets one project their consciousness into the Fold. Achieved through a form of intense meditation, Diving is both mentally and physically draining, not to mention the fact that one’s physical body is left vulnerable for the duration of the dive. Divers risk serious mental and physical harm, death or worse - one can become forever lost in the Fold. A very small fraction of Divers can access the deepest reaches of the Fold.
