The Fold is said to contain an imprint of all of human history, like notes of music etched into a vinyl record. Tuning, then, is like pressing the needle of the record player into those grooves. But it’s not easy. Very few Quaestors can achieve the levels of concentration required to access and interpret information from the Fold, and those who can are in extremely high demand. &nbsp;Along with Diving, Tuning is fundamental to the search for knowledge. After all, if a Quaestor could become skilled enough to read the Fold in its entirety, they would gain infinite wisdom.
